Hello!  Thank you for dropping by.  I would like to thank Mayra, Tara, Leon and Julie Smith for helping make this website come to life.  And thanks to all the rest of you Pana-Zonians who keep the Balboa High School class of '82 heart beating!

This project began as a static website built mainly for the purpose of viewing the 1982 senior profiles easily.  It turned out to be a much bigger project than I originally expected.  I hope you like it.  Please fill out the contact form below if you have any suggestions or if you just want to say hola.

TL;DR
I began this project intending to learn a new website building app (Mobirise) and use ChatGPT to help make a program (in Python) to strip our senior portraits from the pdf of the 1982 yearbook.  I learned how to use an 'agent' to lightly colorize these portraits, and created a program to easily convert HEIC photos (iphone) to jpgs for the slideshows.  My conversations with AI kept me going further and further.  I learned a lot, and now here is the result of my original intention.
